Building the Infrastructure for Legal Assets

LAS sits at the intersection of legal finance, data architecture, and capital markets – standardising how legal assets are operated, reported and scaled.
Built by practitioners who have managed and deployed billions into legal assets, LAS was created to solve the structural challenges that have historically limited the asset class.

From fragmented processes to institutional infrastructure

Legal assets have historically been managed through disconnected systems, manual processes, and inconsistent data.

LAS replaces this fragmentation with a unified infrastructure layer enabling funders, law firms, clients, and investors to operate on a shared system of record with transparency, consistency, and control.

By standardising servicing and reporting, LAS helps transform legal assets into a scalable, investable asset class.

Principles

Infrastructure-grade trust
Designed to meet the expectations of institutional capital, LAS embeds transparency, auditability, and control into every layer of the system.
Standardisation through technology
We apply modern data architecture and system design to standardise how legal assets are serviced and reported across the ecosystem.
Built by domain experts
Our team combines deep experience in litigation finance, legal operations, and risk modelling ensuring LAS reflects how legal assets actually function in practice.
Our Founders

Built by operators in legal finance

LAS was founded by practitioners who have directly experienced the limitations of existing systems and the operational complexity of managing legal assets at scale.
Our founders bring decades of combined experience across private legal practice and legal asset management, offering a uniquely comprehensive perspective on the lifecycle of legal claims. From litigating single-event cases to overseeing complex, multi-jurisdictional collective redress matters, we have deep expertise in both the practice and business of law.

We have managed law firms end-to-end, including financial operations, invoicing, and relationships with litigation funders. Complementing this, we have over a decade of experience managing portfolios of legal assets for some of the world’s largest litigation funders, ranging from individual case investments to strategic investments in other litigation funders. This dual background provides us with hands-on insight into the operational, financial, and strategic complexities of servicing diverse legal assets at scale.

Standardising a new asset class

LAS serves as the foundation that allows legal assets to operate with the same level of transparency, standardisation, and infrastructure as other established asset classes.
Legal assets represent a growing and increasingly institutionalised segment of global capital markets. But without shared infrastructure, they remain difficult to scale, monitor, and allocate capital efficiently.
